1 General Information
The River Run Cup (RRC) is an international online fishing competition concept
Participants fish independently on legally accessible waters in compliance with local laws
RRC is a skill-based competition with no element of chance or gambling involved
2 Eligibility
Open to individuals 18 years or older unless local laws allow otherwise
Participants must be legally permitted to fish in their chosen location
Valid licenses, permits, and permissions are the sole responsibility of the participant
Employees or organizers may not participate unless stated otherwise
3 Registration & Participation
Participation is confirmed only after successful payment and registration
Each ticket grants access to one competition cycle/day unless specified
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law
False or incomplete information may result in disqualification without refund
4 Fishing Regulations & Local Laws
Participants must strictly follow all local, regional, and national laws including:
Closed seasons and protected species
Size limits and allowed fishing methods
RRC does not override local regulations under any circumstances
Any violation of local laws results in immediate disqualification
5 Catch Submission & Verification
Photos and/or videos must be clear, unedited, and taken during the competition period
Requirements Must show the measuring device, identifier, and your RRC-Code
RRC Rights RRC may request additional proof or reject suspicious submissions
Finality The decision of RRC regarding validation is final
6 Fair Play & Conduct
Participants must fish ethically and treat nature and others with respect
Zero-tolerance policy for cheating, staging, or rule circumvention
Violations lead to immediate disqualification and potential permanent bans
7 Safety & Personal Responsibility
Risk Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk
Exclusion RRC is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of equipment
Assessment Participants are responsible for their own safety and insurance
8 Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RRC and its affiliates are not liable for:
Personal injury, death, or property damage
Financial loss or legal consequences from local law violations
Participation implies full acceptance of these risks
9 Prizes & Rankings
Prizes and rankings are defined per individual competition cycle
RRC may adjust prize structures or withhold prizes for rule violations
Taxes or duties on prizes are the responsibility of the winner
10 Media & Content Rights
By participating, you grant RRC the right to:
Use submitted media and usernames for promotional and marketing purposes
Publish rankings and results across social channels
No financial compensation is owed for content usage
11 Data Protection & Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR and applicable laws
Data is used solely for administration, communication, and verification
RRC does not sell personal data to third parties
12 Modification of Rules
RRC reserves the right to modify rules, formats, or conditions at any time for legal or operational reasons Updates will be shared via official RRC channels
13 Termination of Participation
RRC may suspend participation without refund if rules are violated, fraud is suspected, or behavior damages the competition’s integrity
14 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands unless mandatory local laws state otherwise Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court
15 Acceptance
Registration confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all rules and accept full responsibility for your participation
16 Refunds & Event Confirmation
Refunds Requests must be emailed to RRC at least 14 days before the start date
Minimum Competitions require a minimum of 50 participants to take place
Cancellation If the minimum is not met, the event may be cancelled or rescheduled with a full refund provided
